Job Description:Grade UE07: £40,497 – £48,149 per annumCMVM/MRC Human Genetics UnitFull-time: 35 hours per week (we are open to considering flexible working patterns)Fixed-term: until 31 May 2027The Opportunity:Our research is focused on understanding how genetic changes in the non-coding genome can impact gene regulatory mechanisms, alter developmental processes and ultimately affect human craniofacial shape and function in health and disease. In this project, we are interested to investigate changes to gene regulatory landscapes across development as facial progenitor cells differentiate into skeletal cell-types. You will utilise in vitro models of facial development and leverage a combination of cutting-edge epigenomic methods, genome editing and synthetic biology approaches to gain fundamental insights into mechanisms of gene regulation, and human disease biology.Your skills and attributes for success:
