Applications are invited for the following Post in the Technological University Dublin: Competition ID: 036723 Post: Postdoctoral Researcher in Bio-based Material Development – Schl. of Food Science & Environmental Health (Fixed Term Specified Purpose Wholetime for up to 5 years with initial funding for 48 months) (Reference: 180/2025) Location: The post will be primarily based at the TU Dublin Grangegorman campus. However, elements of the research will also be conducted at the TU Dublin Tallaght campus, and occasional research activities may take place at the Teagasc Food Research Centre (Dublin) or at other TU Dublin campuses, including Blanchardstown or Tallaght. Regular attendance at these locations may be required as part of project delivery. In addition, occasional travel for sample collection and engagement with stakeholders across various sites may also be necessary. Hours of Work: A 37 hour working week is in operation. Salary: The successful candidate will be appointed at point (01) of the Post-Doctoral Researcher Salary Scale i.e. €48,412 gross per annum. Remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Incremental credit may apply in line with University policy. Closing Date: 09th May 2025 at 5.00 p.m. (Irish time).
