Offer DescriptionIMDEA Nanociencia is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join Prof. Fernando Martín’s Group.Activities to perform:
- Extend and use the computational codes already existing in the group.
- Apply them to investigate attosecond electron in molecules, including coupling with nuclear dynamics.
- Participation in the analysis and preparation of results for communication.
- Participation in dissemination activities within the framework of the project.
- Participation in the management of data derived from the project
RequirementsResearch Field Chemistry Education Level PhD or equivalentResearch Field Chemistry Education Level PhD or equivalentResearch Field Computer science » Modelling tools Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/Qualifications
- PhD in physics or chemistry related to one of the following areas: Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, Theoretical Chemistry, Computational modeling.
- Experience in building and/or using computer codes related to the areas mentioned above.
- Knowledge in scientific programming by using Python, Fortran, etc.
- High level of English, both oral and written.
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and adaptability.
Languages ENGLISH Level ExcellentAdditional InformationEligibility criteria
- Doctorate in one of the above-mentioned areas.
- Experience in computational modelling.
- Personal interview (when needed). It will be conducted in English.
