Job description
Education and qualifications:Required:
- Ph.D or MD/Ph.D
- Specific/Additional training in bioinformatics analysis (publication records)
- Fluency in English language
Desired:
- Additional training in molecular biology.
- Basic clinical knowledge of pancreaticobiliary cancers.
- Fluency in Catalan and/or Spanish.
Experience and knowledge:Required:
- Knowledge of bioinformatics analysis, including RNA-seq, WES, ChIP-seq, and ATAC-seq data analysis. Proficient in R and Python programming languages.
- Ability to develop and incorporate new pipelines.
Desired:
- Knowledge of high-throughput screening (drug, CRISPR-Cas9).
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordinate multi-omics data analysis in the group
- Give support to researchers within the group
- Collaborate with clinical investigators and other groups in the Vall d’Hebron campus.
- Prepare regular progress reports
- Analyze experimental data
- Keep track of all analytical records
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
- Starting date: February 2025
- Gross annual salary: 28,000 – 33,000 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
