Offer DescriptionThe Institute for Translational Medicine and Liver Disease, Inserm U1110, University of Strasbourg France, is looking for a talented and driven scientist to join Prof. Thomas Baumert’s innovative FIBCAN program funded by a five-year ERC Advanced Grant of the European Research Council. The program is highly translational developing transformative solutions for oncology with a focus on fibrosis-induced liver cancer. The successful candidate will contribute to the preclinical development of breakthrough therapies for cancer. A background in fibrosis, immunology or cancer research would be desirable. Our program is based on key scientific discoveries described in: Mailly et al. Nature Biotech 2015, Nakagawa et al. Cancer Cell 2016, Aizarani et al. Nature 2019, Hamdane et al. Gastroenterology 2019, Jühling et al. Gut 2021, Crouchet et al. Nat. Commun. 2021, Roehlen et al. Science Translational Med 2022, Roehlen et al. J.
