We are actively seeking a skilled Power BI Analyst / Data Visualization Specialist to bolster our quantitative analysis capabilities and enhance data visualization support across our portfolio of projects within the UK and EU research and evaluation sector. Your role will entail crafting intuitive dashboards, discerning stakeholders’ data needs, and producing insightful reports and analytics.

In addition to your proficiency in data visualization, you will play a pivotal role in drafting research reports and proposals, as well as delivering research findings to our esteemed clients. You can anticipate working on multiple projects simultaneously, engaging with diverse teams within ICF and external stakeholders at various levels.

We are especially interested in candidates who exhibit a genuine passion for public policies within our purview. Embracing a flexible, hybrid working model, you can seamlessly balance remote work with access to our UK bases located in London, Plymouth, Leeds, and Birmingham. Key responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and sustain Power BI reports and dashboards with a keen focus on precision and clarity.

  • Innovate and establish scalable, efficient data models tailored to meet diverse reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possession of a pertinent university degree, either at the graduate or postgraduate level.

  • A proven track record of 1-2 years in adeptly navigating Power BI, showcasing a mastery of data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.

  • Demonstrated experience in handling extensive datasets and conducting intricate data analyses.

  • A sound comprehension of database management principles and concepts, including the structuring of multiple tables for relational sources.

  • Proficiency in Excel, coupled with the ability to leverage its features for streamlined data operations.

  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, complemented by a proactive approach to problem-solving. This entails an ability to decipher user reporting requirements and articulate tailored solutions effectively.

This comprehensive skill set underscores the candidate’s academic qualifications and proficiency in diverse tools, ensuring a robust foundation for the challenges and intricacies of the role.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Python/R, adding a dynamic layer to your skill set.

  • Familiarity with SQL, showcasing versatility in data querying and management.
