Then you might be our new Problem Manager!Your responsibilities:As our new Problem Manager you will be responsible for facilitation and co-ordinating of Problem Investigations through each phase of the Problem Management process, including Continual Service Improvement. It will be your responsibility to manage the full life cycle of the Problem Investigations within your scope.Problem Identification and Recording: Proactively identify and log problems through trend analysis of incident data and stakeholder feedback.Root Cause Analysis: Lead and facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) sessions with cross-functional teams to identify underlying issues. Utilize methodologies such as Kepner-Tregoe, 5 Whys, or Fishbone diagrams to ensure thorough examination.Problem Resolution: Develop and implement effective problem resolution strategies, coordinating with technical teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution.Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management, on problem status, resolution progress, and trends. Produce detailed reports and dashboards to track problem management metrics.Knowledge Management: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a knowledge base by documenting problem resolutions and best practices.Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance problem management processes, policies, and tools to ensure alignment with industry best practices and organizational objectives.Requirements
- You have a good understanding of the ITIL framework and you are preferably ITIL certified.
- Advanced Excel knowledge and previous experience with data analysis is a plus.
- Confident in communicating with both colleagues and customers and be fluent in English.
- Broad knowledge of operational technologies in IT infrastructure, such as Windows and servers, Active Directory, database technologies, virtualization, network, SAN, and storage
- As a person you are conscience driven, analytic and can make yourself heard and understood.
- You excel in your ability to push for implementation, while maintaining a good relationship with many stakeholders.
- An analytical mindset and a structured approach combined with a high sense of urgency are crucial skills to be a success in the position.
