Utilising our Flutter Edge to turbo-charge our capabilities.What you’ll doWe are looking for a Process and Controls Coordinator to join our team. The role will report to the Indirect Tax Manager and will be primarily responsible for collating the evidence required to support our operating models, particularly relevant in the SOX environment in which Flutter now operates. The evidence focusses on tracking the locations of key individual decision makers and the collection and review of relevant business meeting minutes. The individual will assist in the collation of evidence reflecting the correct intercompany supplies.This is a unique role within the tax function that does not require any formal accounting or tax qualifications or experience. The role would be well suited to an organised and detail orientated individual, who is keen to work with a variety of stakeholders. The role would be suited to someone with prior project management experience (however, this is not essential).Specific Responsibilities:Assist the indirect tax senior managers to ensure the effective implementation of guidelines across all departments, providing training and support as needed.Monitor adherence to guidelines and conduct regular audits to ensure the compliance.On a monthly basis,Ensure location data has been uploaded to Microsoft Forms by relevant individuals (currently in excess of 100 individuals).Ensure that meeting minutes have been uploaded to the internal management platform by the relevant personnel.Where the information has not been uploaded to the relevant platforms, following up with the individuals and escalating where necessary.Carrying out the initial review of the output of this data and circulating within the tax team.Keep internal management tools used in the data collection updated to ensure they function correctly and efficiently.Ensure all documentation which is required as evidence for SOX controls is filed in a timely manner in the relevant repository and readily available to the auditors.Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of all guidelines and procedures.Reconcile intercompany invoices to expected to process flows and identify any discrepancies.Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to enhance operational efficiency.Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and other stakeholders to ensure the efficiency of the process.How you’ll do itExcellent computer literacy skills, including intermediate to sophisticated Excel skills, and curiosity about understanding and resolving systems issues.Project Management experience.Business accumenCollaborates – Is a great teammate and works with others across the organisation to get things done.Communicates effectively – Communicates well across a range of channels and audiences.Nimble learning – Is agile and flexible.
