On behalf of our global organisation, we manage procurement activities of an annual spend of ~4,3billion EUR.In this role based in Arla Foods’ head office in Viby J, Denmark, join our dynamic procurement team Business Services, and report to Procurement Director Anja Laursen.How you will make an impactWithin our Business Service function dedicated to a wide array of indirect procurement categories, we are looking for a Category Manager for the marketing category. You will work closely with stakeholders, other procurement colleagues in the Business Services team and especially with your other marketing procurement colleague based in Dubai.We expect you to successfully navigate the complexity of the category as you:

  • Define, develop, and implement the sourcing strategy as well as tools and processes to facilitate sourcing decisions within your categories.
  • Manage negotiation projects, involving and efficiently coordinating between stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Develop, launch, and drive RFPs to select suppliers in targeted categories in cooperation with stakeholders.
  • Drive the spend compliance agenda in Arla within your categories together with your procurement colleagues.

Who are you?We expect that you bring experience within marketing and/or media services alternatively experience from indirect procurement in a global organisation.Whether you have worked at an international company or perhaps a consultancy, you have acquired strong project management skills in driving processes, including negotiating and landing contract agreements.If you supplemented your experience with a similar position as Category Manager, it will be a considerable advantage.You are experienced in business partnering, building positive relationships, and managing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You know how to keep processes going through thoughtful communication, flexible project management, and you are fluent in written and spoken English.Your analytical skills allow you to comfortably shift from a strategic overview to operational tasks and in-depth analysis. It is likewise important that you have a good understanding of complex negotiations, contracts, and the commercial aspects behind them.On a personal level, you bring strong leadership qualities, and the combination of your business knowledge and communication skills enables you to influence others to move towards a common goal.
