Our Procurement team is at the forefront of this, and we’re looking for a talented individual to join us as a Procurement Data Analyst. Responsibilities

Data Retrieval and Analysis: Gather, cleanse, and analyze data from various Procurement and Finance tools to create reliable, fact-based reporting for the Procurement team and the wider organization.

Strategic Opportunity Identification: Utilize data to find and quantify tactical and strategic opportunities. Proactively engage in projects, identifying areas for improvement and supporting cost efficiency opportunities.

Data Management: Develop and execute modelling and cleansing plans, ensuring alignment of people, processes, and systems. Manage data from start to finish, including planning, execution, and validation.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and define data management objectives. Contribute to the development of analytics offerings, ensuring they remain attractive, credible, and relevant.

Product Development: Contribute to analytics product development and staged releases in line with the Data Analytics Framework, including Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive Analytics.
Requirements
You will have:

Proven experience in data retrieval, cleansing, and analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with data cleansing methodologies.

Proficiency in tools such as Power BI.

Location
The University is supportive of hybrid working, where some work is undertaken on University premises and some in a remote working environment. The aim of our approach is to enable as many staff as possible to work in a hybrid way if they wish and where their role allows. This arrangement is subject to change and will not form a part of the contractual terms of the role.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years.
