– Lead creative product development, ensuring alignment with our Product
Innovation (PI) team, market trends and business goals.
– Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, production, sales, engineering) to guide products from concept to completion.
– Define product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives based on customer and business needs.
– Manage the full product lifecycle, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.Leadership and Management:
– Partner with senior leadership to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.– Manage and mentor a team of designers, fostering creativity and ensuring
alignment with product objectives– Ensure a collaborative and innovative work environment, balancing design
creativity with product marketability.Design and Production Oversight:
– Oversee the creative design process from concept through to final production, ensuring designs meet both aesthetic and technical requirements.
– Approve final product designs, assist PI with Studio Approvals and ensure they are factory-ready, meeting all technical specifications.
– Maintain a deep understanding of design software and tools to troubleshoot
design challenges.Project Management:
– Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring that all product design and
development milestones are met.
– Monitor project budgets and allocate resources efficiently to meet objectives.Quality Control and Compliance:
– Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes, ensuring the highest standard of design and production output.
– Ensure that all designs and products comply with industry standards and
regulations, providing a seamless approval process.Technical Expertise:
– Leverage design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD) to review and refine
designs, ensuring they meet production and technical requirements.
– Troubleshoot any design-related issues during the production process to prevent delays.– Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
– 5+ years of experience in product management or design management, ideally in a manufacturing or consumer products environment.
– Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering products on time and within budget.
– Experience managing design teams and working cross-functionally with other departments.
– Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, etc.).
– Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
