The opportunity

Working as part of the UAL Short Courses Ltd team, this post will provide administrative support to the development of new products, the customised UALSC short course programme and scheduled products/courses. The post holder will work closely with the Product Development Manager and the Head of Product and Planning to ensure effective processes are used in the delivery of new products, existing products, and our growing customised offer. The post holder will work cross functionally where necessary to support the effective launch and ongoing administrative support of all products within the UALSC portfolio. 

About you

The candidate needs to be able to devise effective processes to support existing and new products. You will be well organised, proactive and be able to use various software packages including Excel/Word/Miro to create efficiencies.

You have experience of working and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and enjoy communicating in various ways.

You will have an eye for detail, be diligent and the ability to work autonomously.  You will also be happy questioning existing processes and suggesting new ways of doing things.

UAL Short Courses (UALSC) is part of the University’s department of Academic Enterprise which leads the University of the Arts London’s commercial educational operations. There are 100 staff and 1,500 hourly paid staff in Academic Enterprise, which is integral to the University’s long-term development. Its mission is to increase the amount of income generated by the University from non-core teaching and research activities. It includes several successful existing business operations including UAL Short Courses Ltd, AE International (English Language preparation and Study Abroad) as well as UALAT.
