Medtronic is hiring a Transcatheter Aortic Valve (TAVI) Product Manager for Western Europe, responsible for establishing and executing product marketing strategies and activities aimed at supporting Structural Heart business in Europe.

In the role, you will be a key member of our fast-paced, high-visibility Structural Heart marketing team committed to restoring health and extending lives to patients with heart valve disease. You will be working closely with diverse stakeholders internally, as well as with our physicians and external partners.

A Day in the Life

• Contribute to the strategy, annual goals and objectives of the TAVI product line in Western Europe

• Identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term marketing strategies and campaigns, and lead their effective execution to achieve Annual Operating Plan objectives and market share goals

• Commit to portfolio and product management, as well as marketing mix strategy and execution, market intelligence interpretation, marketing campaigns launches and competition understanding

• Drive operational excellence supporting demand planning process, and product allocation, when necessary

• Ensure in-depth customer understanding that translate into campaigns addressing customer needs and overcoming barriers

• Ensure that campaign collaterals reflect the needs in the countries and are effectively used in the field including partnering with internal sales training team, and drive campaign roll-out alignment in the team

• Partner and align with global operating unit as well as other cross-functional areas, such as market development, research, health economics, education, digital planning, and sales, by actively supporting Marketing Managers in the Western European region to implement their local plans.

• Consistently and effectively communicate appropriate product, market, clinical, competitive information to sales organization

• Build and maintain relationships with country and regional sales and marketing teams, as well as appropriate physician Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support product and marketing strategies

Must Haves

• Business or Healthcare related (medical or scientific) degree or its equivalent

• Min 3 years of successful product marketing, strategy development and execution in an international environment

• Experience working in a matrix organization and leading with influence

• Fluency in English

• Ability to travel regionally (<25%)

• Proven experience in project management and working on complex situations

• Strong marketing and customer-focused mindset, ability and willingness to work both at strategic and operational levels

• Strong analytical thinking to drive fact-based decision making, committment to excellence with a positive, solution-oriented attitude

Nice to Haves

• Master of Business Administration or equivalent post-graduate diploma

• Experience in pharma or medical device environment

• Fluency in additional European language(s)

• Experience working with physician customers

• Experience with or ability to understand, interpret and apply clinical and performance data to marketing activities

• Understanding of non-clinical stakeholder environment and needs
