Directly reporting to the group CTO, the Modern Workplace domain combines 2 major teams: Digital Workplace Services and Endpoint Services. 

Unified Communication & Workspace Management is part of the Digital Workplace team.

What a day in the life of the Workplace Infrastructure team looks like: 

To deliver the ambitious vision of Modern Workplace for L’Oréal Beauty Tech, as Product Owner of Unified Communication and Workspace Management, you’ll be responsible of building the future of some major Digital Workplace services. 

For the 3 years to come, we aim to push forward our workplace services ecosystem to become the “workplace platform” adapted to each L’Oréal business needs, facilitating hybrid work, increasing wellbeing of our employees, providing measurable and actionable KPIs for all services we provide, promoting real-time collaboration at scale and really enhance the experience of all L’Oréal employees. 

The challenges you will meet: 

  • As L’Oréal is a worldwide company of more than 80k employees, one of the challenges consists in defining and guaranteeing group Standards. 
  • In parallel, the variety of métiers and regions brings local specificities: one of the challenges consists in finding the right balance between standardizing and answering all Business needs from internal customers (coming from Zones, divisions, or Employee Experience teams) 
  • At the same time, you will have to ensure the respect of Security, Data Privacy and sustainability requirements on your Services. 

You will be the global referent for any topics related to Product Management – Unified Communication and Workspace, including: 

Main services in the scope: Teams chat, Teams Phone, Teams Rooms, Teams App management, Sensors for Offices, Building Operating Systems (BOS), 

Primary Tasks:  

Listening closely to the market and to the voice of all L’Oréal employees (end-users, real estate, campuses, corporate, sustainability teams) 

  • Monitors trends (market / technologies) and identifies opportunities for the company. 
  • In collaboration with Employee Experience teams, collects, and understands internal customers’ needs. 
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our users’ needs, pain points, and use cases to create user-centric product features and enhancements. 
  • In collaboration with Corporate, Real estate and Sustainability team, collects and understands needs for L’Oréal buildings. 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in unified communications, Workspace management and product management. 

Defining the services roadmap 

  • Qualifies and challenges customers’ requests considering Security, Privacy, Sustainability and Financial aspects. 
  • Arbitrates on request with the team. 
  • Define the priority of each request. 
  • Develop the associated action plan and timeline and share it back with the requester. 
  • Build the evolution roadmap of each service. 

Defining Standard for all services provided 

  • Qualify solutions to enrich our catalog to standardize services and solutions. 
  • Ensures / controls these standards are well applied at l’Oréal 

Organizing with agility 

  • Is responsible of the backlog. 
  • Organizes activities in the team to reach milestones. 
  • Identifies risks inherent to projects and defines actions plans to mitigate them. 
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on product development progress, roadmap, and launches. 
  • Helps the team unlock the roadblocks. 

Ensuring service quality 

  • Defines the key point of contact for the services under its responsibility. 
  • Defines services ambitions. 
  • Defines and implements with the team associated monitoring tools (KPIs, dashboards…) 
  • Defines and implements with the team the best way to communicate and report on its services. 
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement. 

Promoting services 

  • Defines and implements the best ways to promote services.

  • In-depth practical experience delivering Unified Communication solutions.
