Job description

We are looking for a Product QC Coordinator to join our team in Venray.This role presents an great opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, driving growth and excellence in ResMed’s expanding distribution operations. To support ambitious growth and achieve our outstanding customer experience goals, you’ll work to ensure our processes are stable, identify issues, and that our medical devices meet requirements within our local European distribution sites.You’ll partner with ResMed QA Engineers, ResMed Operations Operations, and multiple 3PL providers, assessing product, monitoring processes, and managing non-conformances.Ideal for someone who understands warehouse operations, and who is eager to expand their Quality knowledge, and wishes to have a mix of physical warehouse activities, and office-based activity.A typical day might consist of:

  • Starting the Morning at an Operations standup meeting at the distribution warehouse, to be aware of operational issues and to align on actions for the day.
  • Run reports to identify stock on-hand affected by a quality issue and request containment
  • Provide guidance to the 3PL inbound team on in inbound inspection failure
  • Perform an inspection of segregated damaged product and provide an assessment if it can be reworked or needs to be scrapped
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing rework, sample product and send approval to release conforming stock
  • Collate process metrics, and prepare analysis

Let’s talk about Responsibilities:Communication and Collaboration

  • Communicate clearly within the team, to 3PLs and with cross-functional partnerships.
  • Clearly communicate changes in processes, to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build trust and open relationships with stakeholders across organisations to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, inventory, supply chain, and other internal teams to align quality objectives with operational goals.

Quality Assurance and Reporting

  • Carry out checks on product and process output.
  • Provide accurate, factual, and timely updates on quality metrics, reworks, CAPA actions and improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare reports on quality performance, project progress.
  • Track product hold actions, reworks, collate and review results.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to operational teams in handling and completion of Quality Records.

Process Management

  • Implement structured updates, ensuring timely information flow and alignment on key priorities.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of tasks and processes

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Distribution Warehouse environment, preferable in a Lead or Inventory Management role.
  • Strong English language skills
  • Good Oral and written communication skills
  • Desired: experience in ISO 9001, Medical Devices, Food safety or similar regulated environments

Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to work at the detailed level and keep an eye on the bigger picture
  • Comfortable with Physical handling of product for inspection
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP/WMS Systems
  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects and programs and manage priorities.
