Position overview

Are you interested in learning allnex personnel and customers worldwide information about hazard, transportation and regulatory requirements of our products and raw materials? You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Hazard Communication Manager and Specialist by having basic knowledge on the classification of hazard and notification of risk in the countries in which allnex products are manufactured or sold. You will be providing Safety Data Sheets and labels to allnex business units and plants, following the Hazard Communication process in a timely and cost efficient manner.
We are excited to have talents like you to provide worldwide transportation classification and basic chemical control classification for allnex materials and purchased raw materials, in line with the Hazard Communication process. Responsibilities
-Support allnex businesses by conducting hazard in health, physical and environmental as well as regulatory assessment for allnex materials and purchased raw materials on a world-wide basis according to HazCom process.
-Responsible for classifying products in accordance with world-wide regulation including transportation of Dangerous Goods, Labeling, Commerce Control Classifications like harmonized tariffs and other local classifications such as Japanese Fire Service Law and etc.
-Prepare allnex Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product regulatory labeling in several formats and languages.
-Prepare documents on or before needed by dates in order to meet customer needs. 
-Support and maintain the central Product Stewardship database system (Wercs).
-Support in approval of purchased raw materials used in the manufacturing of allnex products.
-Provide technical support for global chemical control law compliance by determining chemical inventory classifications and working with the PSRA regulatory compliance team.
-Work with Plant and R&D product stewards to process, review, and approve their new product requests.
-Collaborate with the product stewards and the supply chain to manage and implement product regulatory knowledge.

Required skills and experience
-Proficiency in spoken and written English.
-Proficiency with MS Office applications and the use of database systems is critical for personal productivity and effectiveness.
-Drive and initiative to keep learning and improving.
-Detailed-oriented.
-Strong capability working independently and in a team.
-Strong problem-solving skills in terms of make sound business decisions quickly.
-Be accountable, motivated and dedicated by meeting or exceeding the expectations of internal and external customers.
-Able to prioritize, plan, and track day-to-day work and multiple projects; be flexible as business needs and priorities change.
-Able to understand and follow complex processes.

Qualifications
-Technical Degree with a strong Chemistry background.
-BS or Advanced Degree in Chemistry, Toxicology or Environmental Science is preferred.
