Position descriptionJob titleProject Consultant- EU InstitutionsFunctionAdvisory – AdvisorRoles & ResponsibilitiesEU institutions and agencies are faced with a range of diverse challenges and often need to deal with disruptive changes.We are looking to strengthen the EU sector team with a Project Consultant- EU Institutions who has experience in working with and/or within EU institutions, bodies, organisations, and agencies (EU IBOA).

  • Lead and contribute to the activities from a proposal preparation to its implementation.
  • Deliver feasibility studies, impact assessment and evaluation studies in line with the Better Regulation toolbox and other EU methodologies and guidance.
  • Monitor policy developments at the European level and prepare briefing papers.
  • Oversee implementation of several projects to ensure quality delivery on time and budget.
  • Participate in the organisation of teams’ events and training sessions.
  • Actively contribute to EU-organised events and share the knowledge and expertise with the EU institutions practice, public sector, and the organisation network.
  • Craft, build and manage a project roadmap to ensure timely delivery of project activities and success of an overall project objectives.
  • Commit to the development of our practice by participating to the organisation of team events, training sessions and recruitment activities.

  • Hold a Masters’ degree and have minimum 3 years of experience, including client-facing consulting experience;
  • Have at least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in consultancy environment with focus on EU IBOA;
  • Have in-depth business and policy expertise in one of the following domains: justice and home affairs, sustainability, energy and climate, public health, digitalisation, etc.
  • Hold certificates in project management (PRINCE2Foundation, PM2methodology), Business analysis (e.g. CBAP), ITIL, TOGAF, etc.
  • Have the knowledge and practical experience with the Better Regulation toolbox of the Commission;
  • Have commercial mindset and hands-on experience with proposal preparation for EU IBOA.
  • Fluency in English is required; Dutch and/or French is a plus
  • Have excellent communications and presentation skills.
