Run what runs the worldThis Position reports to: Finance ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesReporting to Local Controllers of Process Industries in Spain, you will provide support to the local controlling community, ensuring correct control and reporting of projects and financial statements. You will help to analyze financial impacts to ensure accuracy of main KPIs of the business.You will be mainly accountable for:Being a valuable member of the Controlling team and actively support business monthly reporting processMonitoring projects and business development and proposing required adjustments (provisions and accruals) based on business knowledgeLeading financial aspects in internal project review meetingsCoordinating and following overdue resolutionWarehouse analyzing and monitoring to support operational decision makingManaging and closely monitoring cash-flow and Net Working CapitalAnalyzing evolution of order backlog and sales as well as variations in profitabilityFulfilling financial information required by authorities and support in internal and external controls (SOX/auditors)Ensuring accuracy and control of reinvoicing of costs to other entities of the company.The work model for the role is hybrid, closely coordinating with other team members in different locations.Qualifications for the roleDegree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance and Accounting…2-3 years of experience in a controlling or similar financial reporting roleLocated in Barcelona area with availability to travel up to 25% of the time to BilbaoFlexibility to adapt to tight group reporting calendar is required; used to work under pressureHave a critical mindset improving processes and giving value added to the businessAbility to multitasking, with a proactive approach and good communication skillsExperience in SAP; knowledge of SAP cloud solutions is a plus (S/4-Hana)Advanced level in excel is important.
