Job Title Project Management Principal SpecialistSummary:The Project Manager Principal Specialist to guide our data management, migration, and analytics teams in delivering high-impact transformation projects. This role demands a team leader with a deep understanding of data and analytics, capable of managing complex projects from inception to completion while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.In this role you will:Project Management

• Guide the planning, execution, and delivery of data and analytics projects using Agile methodologies.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects.
• Oversee that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Monitor and track project progress, and manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

Data Migration

• Oversee the execution of data migration initiatives, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Work closely with data analysts, database administrators, and IT teams to ensure successful data migration.
• Recognize potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure data migration projects are executed smoothly.

Agile Methodologies

• Apply Agile practices and principles to improve project efficiency and outcomes.
• Conduct Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure transparency and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuously evaluate and improve Agile processes, tools, and techniques to enhance team productivity and project delivery.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with stakeholders to gather and prioritize project requirements.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Facilitate decision-making processes and ensure alignment between stakeholders and project teams.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success.

About the Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in data and analytics projects, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies and practices, and a strong understanding of data migration processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) methodologies.
• Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analytics platforms, as well as proficiency in project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).
• Knowledge of data management and governance technologies (EBX, Collibra) and database management systems is a plus, along with familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
