To meet our objectives, the expectations of our partners and to play our part in responding to
the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss, we are pleased to be recruiting for
Project Manager. Our Project Managers lead on the design
and delivery of complex projects and programmes that help to realise the Trust’s vision and
ambition at scale through multi-agency partnerships. 

For at least the first 6 months this role will focus on the Trust’s partnership working
undertaken as part of the wider Leven Programme Partnership. You will successfully manage the
final 4 months of the Leven River Park Project’s NLHF funded Development phase and the
transition towards the Project’s Delivery phase.

In this substantive role, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders and partners, and
manage the relevant phases of each project from early scoping, through the consultation phase,
to the final design, implementation and beyond.

The Project Manager role involves:

  • Full lifecycle project management, ensuring agreed project milestones are met
  • Liaison between the different workstreams, stakeholders and project leads to ensure
    effective partnership working
  • Procuring and managing the work of contractors/suppliers and ensuring quality and
    timeliness
  • Identifying, securing and reporting on grant funding
  • Monitoring and reporting project progress and budget internally and externally
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
  • Ensuring all projects meet relevant regulations and policies

Applications are sought from individuals with:

  • Proven skills in project and/or programme management 
  • Experience of securing grant funding.
  • Experience of partnership working, strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Experience of financial procedures and budget management
