Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with project management, leadership and strategic planning skills to lead a review of UHS Critical Care technologist services. The goal within the 12 month contract will be to assess current workforce, national guidance and work with clinical teams to assess and create a strategic plan for services devising a road map for the next 5 years for the service.

The CC technologist teams are made up of a varied workforce of around 25 staff plus trainees, covering General ICU ,Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU and Paediatric ICU as well as supporting the Major Trauma Centre. 

This is a fixed term 12 month contract, full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday-Friday. There will be a requirement for onsite as well as the ability for off site working. This will involve multi disciplinary working, gaining an in-depth knowledge of healthcare scientist roles, and insight into the complex service delivery
