Blue Projects is a fast-growing consulting firm specializing in tailored Engineering and Project Management solutions for the industrial sector. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our Mechelen office.About the RoleAs a Project Manager, you will support the Project Management Department in overseeing budgets, planning, and technical aspects of construction projects. You will also assist in managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.Ideal Candidate Profile
- Some experience in construction project management, preferably in industrial projects.
- Understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health & safety standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and construction/project management software.
- Strong command of English.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with leadership potential.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related field.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Willingness to travel or relocate for project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the project team in defining project specifications.
- Assist in contract negotiations with external vendors.
- Help obtain permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
- Estimate resource needs (manpower, equipment, materials) while maintaining budget constraints.
- Aid in planning project operations and scheduling key milestones.
- Support project teams in task allocation and coordination.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor progress and prepare project reports.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and report any concerns.
