A Snapshot of your day

We are looking for a detailed-oriented, customer driven, proactive individual to act as a project manager. 50% of your time will be dedicated to support a key customer in nuclear industry. You will support industrial customers for the remaining of your time.

The Project Manager will be part of the service organization looking after industrial turbines and generators at our customer base in France. In collaboration with the West Europe team as well as the Global Centers of Competences, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from order acknowledgement to finalization. With the understanding of customer’s needs, the Project Manager will coordinate Resources and Materials/ Parts availability to successfully execute Major and Minor Outages and other Services related projects.

How you will make an impact

  • Responsible for being the single point of contact for a key customer in the nuclear industry and other industrial customers
  • Maintain good customer and stakeholder relations to ensure the smooth implementation of the assigned service contracts and projects.
  • Attention to details to ensure compliance with nuclear specifications and long term service agreement
  • Responsible for executing the projects within the committed timeline and budget, and keeping the organization informed through progress reports.
  • Responsible for change management, risk assessment and claim management
  • Identify and organize the appropriate resources needed for the project implementation, including subcontractors, temporary and permanent SE staff (local and overseas) ind. Specialists.
  • Communicate with and support respective Global Engineering and Manufacturing locations.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with customers with the support of the legal department, and ensure compliance with the organization requirements.
  • Ensure CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool is up-to-date.
  • Be willing to travel as necessary (10% of your time)

What you bring

  • 3-5 years project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or combined Business and Engineering.
  • Knowledge/experience in managing project for nuclear industry will be an asset.
  • Knowledge/experience in rotating equipment will be an asset.
  • Native French speaker. Very good command of English both written & spoken, German will be an asset.
  • Experience in OnePM will be an asset
  • Broad commercial and contractual understanding to successfully interact with customers, management / colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking, decision making, result oriented and good communication skills.
  • Flexibility, problem-solving, proactivity and an open-minded view..
