Job Summary
Responsible for leading small to medium sized projects to deliver the agreed outcomes and deliverables within time, cost and quality requirements.
Guides and coordinates with all relevant parties to understand and deliver project objectives and KPIs, providing day to day management and leadership of the project and the project team.
Key Job Responsibilities
Determines project management, technical services and external resources required for project/s.
Delivers project objectives in line with the Project Execution Plan, leads and supervises the project team/s and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitors and actively engages in Health, Safety and Wellbeing aspects of the project at all stages.
Prepares and modifies where necessary project plans and keeps them updated and relevant over the course of the project/s.
Oversees project timeframes and project budgets, and ensures budgets are managed diligently and highlights any risks, challenges and mitigations.
Collaborates with relevant parties/stakeholders and ensures robust quality systems are in place and suitably managed and monitored.
Leads relevant meetings, providing relevant parties with contextual information and analysis where required and site walks and ensures these are suitably recorded.
Partners with relevant stakeholders and is actively involved in risk management.
Effectively coordinates and communicates with all project parties/stakeholders, ensuring completion of responsibilities/tasks and ensures suitable standards and records are recorded and maintained.
Documents and takes ownership of project changes as and when necessary, tracking project changes.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

Proven experience in project management, managing small to medium sized projects.
Developed communication, presentation and project planning and development skills.

Proven understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
Display strong communication and negotiation skills to support the client/customer focus.

Proficient knowledge and expertise in specific industry/sector/market of project/role.
Relevant technical qualification/certification for project portfolio/s.
Sound technical expertise in Health and Safety Executive (HSE) rules and specific sector / market regulations relevant to project portfolio.
Knowledge of relevant industry/sector/markets and an understanding of required specialism/s. Knowledge of consultancy, construction, infrastructure and property sectors / markets and an understanding of estimating, scheduling, contracts administration, procurement, commercial controls and reporting.

MCIOB/MAPM/MRICS (or working towards) or local equivalent.
Tertiary qualifications in related (project management and/or construction related discipline), non-related degree or equivalent professional experience / apprenticeship, combined with a demonstrable intermediate level of role knowledge.
Appropriate Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card or equivalent.Prince2 (or alternative local equivalent).
Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or local equivalent.
Potential Career Progression Roles
Career progression horizontally may involve other project manager roles at P4/M2, across a function or cross functionally, to build a broader professional skill set.
Career progression vertically may involve moving to a senior project manager role at P5/M3.
