Then, join us at COWI and drive the future of railway development!Become a part of our Track and Safety Department in Vejle/OdenseWe are looking for a Project Manager to join our team. We are currently a team of 10 people located in Vejle who are looking to expand our team in both Vejle and Odense. We have good railway colleagues based in Odense; hence it will also be possible to be in this office. We are working alongside our customers on some of the most significant projects in Denmark. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like Driverless S-train in Copenhagen (DSB Future S-train) and New Railway Aarhus-Silkeborg.Your key responsibilities will be:

  • To develop and manage project and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget, and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Lead and allocate tasks to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring collaboration and efficient resource use.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, address concerns, and provide regular updates on progress.
  • Manage project finances, ensure it stays within budget while maintaining quality.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensure the project meets industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee procurement and contracts.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineer, civil engineer or similar.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of project management experience with railway or infrastructure.
  • Preferably experience as a consultant or contractor.
  • Proficiency in Danish and English, both verbally and written.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
