About the Role

The Careers Service & Internship Office is looking for candidates to join our fantastic student-facing department.  You need to have some experience in project management, and/or in partner engagement. It is a great opportunity for someone to develop their skills by working directly with Oxford students and mentors around the world.  The appointee will be reporting directly to the Head of the Internship Office and will administer a small but popular mentoring programme for Astrophoria Foundation Year Students and First Year Undergraduate bursary holders.

The Internship Office runs a range of highly successful internship programmes, learning and development experiences and mentoring opportunities to support Oxford students in securing work experience. They happen throughout the year and are based in the UK and around the world. 

The Internship Office’s key programmes are The Summer Internship Programme, The Micro-Internship Programme, The Crankstart Internship & Careers Mentoring Programmes, and The Promentor Programme: An Alumni Mentoring Programme.

About You

We are looking for candidates who are organised and have experience building relationships. They should enjoy communicating and working with people. Experience administrating student programmes would be helpful, but we are more interested in your ability and willingness to learn.  Key components of the role are partner engagement; student support; marketing; evaluation.
