Join Sanofi and help us shape the future of healthcare!About the jobYou’ll be working in close collaboration with colleagues from amongst other market access, communication, and commercial teams. The Public Affairs team consists of the Head of Public affairs, four Public Affairs managers and two Patient Engagement managers. In addition, you’ll be working in collaboration with colleagues from the North Europe region that consists of the BeNeLux and the Scandinavian countries.Main responsibilities:1. Mapping & Insights – health care environmentIdentify policy issues and follow-up of policy framework to improve patients access to relevant medicines and that impact the businessMaintain broad view on general developments in Dutch healthcare sector (e.g. through participation in conferences, symposia, etc.,)Monitor and analyse new government initiatives, potential change in policies and broader developments (including parliamentary activities regarding healthcare), identifying key trends2. Strategy SettingConstruct and roll-out a long-term Public Affairs plan for the assigned GBU(s), in line with both the GBU and cross-departmental priorities, and adapt plan to changing situations and priorities if neededDevelop campaigns in collaboration with GBUs, Patient Engagement managers, Market Access and Communication colleaguesWork together with the Head of PA and other PA Managers in order to determine country priorities3. EngagingBe the Sanofi/GBU representative in some key platforms of discussion, both internal and external4. AdvocatingDevelop partnerships with variety of stakeholders like patient organisations, political parties, healthcare provider associations (physicians, pharmacists, hospital, nurses…), sickness funds, trade associations, patient associations (overarching) and think tanks in order to discuss trends and concerns, and evaluate together how to maintain both a sustainable healthcare system and balanced economic environmentEnhance Sanofi’s visibility and reputation both within and outside the pharmaceutical industry, e.g. through implementation of corporate programs, active participation in conferences, symposia, industry association meetingsEducate stakeholders on challenges in the patient journey and the value or products bring for patientsContribute to obtain regulatory/financial framework for PSP programs (p.ex. Home Care)Focus on disease awareness and medical need for (upcoming) products in the GBU portfolioAbout YouEducation:Master’s degree in an appropriate field (Health Sciences, Political science, Policy) or equivalent experience. Medical degree (pharmacist, doctor) is welcomed.Experience:Experience in an industrial, consultancy, trade association, political or other relevant environment, with proven experience in a public affairs or similar roleExisting network of relevant stakeholders in the Netherlands ·Has a deep understanding of the Dutch political and health care system, including the reimbursement systems applicable to Sanofi’s productsPublic Affairs/Advocacy experience;Knowledge of patient journey;Soft and technical skills:Ability to build sustainable social relationships within the organization, with policymakers, patient organisations and other external stakeholdersLanguages:Excellent command of Dutch and English, both verbal and written, is a strict requirement.#LI-EUR #LI-HybridPursue progress, discover extraordinaryBetter is out there.
