Job description
Manual QA Engineer – €45k-€50kDublin, Ireland – HybridResponsibilitiesManual testing experience on both Web and Mobile. Estimation of testing efforts for the project.Provide clear and accurate reporting on testing progress and results.Design and execute test plans and cases to ensure product quality.Mentor other QA team members.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize defects and provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance.Analyse automated test results.Perform investigative testing to determine possible causes of issues.Ensure that the software meets both functional and non-functional requirements.Communicate quality status to stakeholders and management. Qualifications3+ years of commercial experience in software testing.Hands on experience with Web testing.Proven experience in API testing and familiarity with Postman and SoapUI.Ability to read and analyse logs to troubleshoot issues.Excellent understanding of client-server architecture and microservices.Must be passion for being QA advocate to raise the bar for better quality gatesStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work on your own initiative.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.Hands-on experience with SQL and experience in querying databases is a must.Candidates with a Foundation ISTQB certification will be prioritised.
