Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to use your analytical and innovative skills to support the quality control of our tablet production? Do you want to be part of a great quality department, which always aims to improve our processes to achieve and secure the best supply chain?

Then you might be the right analytical chemist to join our QC-team at Lundbeck. We are looking for an enthusiastic and action oriented analytical chemist to perform quality control related to Lundbeck’s bulk production. 

Your new role – Why is this a great opportunity?

You will take part in the responsibility of QC-tasks related to Lundbeck’s production. This includes making sure the analyses fulfil the GMP requirements of the authorities.

Approving HPLC-, dissolution, KF and other chemical analyses, laboratory support, handling deviations, writing SOPs, implementing, and maintaining analytical equipment, troubleshooting in collaboration with the tablet production in Valby and tasks in relation to optimization/validation of analytical methods.

You will join our QC team and assist us take the next step forward through the work with Operational Excellence and focus on continuous improvement to secure the best supply chain. You will be part of cross organizational tasks and other relevant activities to build up a stakeholder network in Lundbeck. Furthermore, the department aims to achieve a wide range of employees’ skills – both personally and professionally.

Your future team

QC Small Molecule is a department of approximately 80 people in 5 teams with the responsibility of performing quality control related to Lundbeck’s production. In this process we work closely with the production facilities in Valby and Lumsås in Denmark, as well as our sites in Italy and France. You will be part of section 2 which consist of 16 employees consisting of 1 manager, 6 QC academics and 9 laboratory technicians who takes pride in approval of analysis related to Lundbeck’s bulk tablets as well as the continuous improvement of our methods and processes. QC Small Molecule is placed at our Headquarter in Valby, Copenhagen, and will be the primary workplace.

What you bring to the team

-A scientific academic degree within chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering or similar

-A positive mind and good cooperating skills

-Masters oral and written Danish and English

-Works independently and gets things done

-Analytical and problem-solving skills

-GMP experience

As a person, you are positive, helpful, structured and action oriented. You enjoy solving problems and aim for continuous improvement. You are also result oriented and enjoy working independent and together with your colleagues in a team and across the department.
