The End Point Assessment Department (EPAD):

The University of West London is the End Point Assessment organisation for the integrated apprenticeship and is fully registered on the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) Register of End Point Assessment Organisations (RoEPAO). The End Point Assessment department (EPAD) is responsible for the quality assurance of End Point Assessments (EPA) for apprenticeships, ensuring robust internal quality assurance processes in line with the requirements of assessment plans. The department is also responsible for recruiting and training Independent Assessors.

The Academic Quality and Standards Office oversees the maintenance and enhancement of standards, and all quality assurance activities, processes, and policies on behalf of the University for its internal and external academic provision. 

The Role 

The role involves working with colleagues in the End Point Assessment Department to support the implementation and further development of quality assurance processes to support the effective delivery of EPA for a range of Higher and Degree Apprenticeship. The role is focussed on supporting the effective delivery of Gateway and End Point Assessment, including supporting staff and apprentices in navigating through these milestones and co-ordinating Gateway and End Point Assessment activities. The role will also involve working with colleagues from a range of Schools/Colleges and Professional Service Departments.

The Person

The successful candidate will possess experience of working in administration and a good knowledge of the UK HE or FE sector desirably with some experience of apprenticeship provision. They will have experience of working with a variety of stakeholders, display a good level of attention to detail and possess the drive and determination to complete work to a high standard. 

They will be supporting the management of the End Point Assessment (EPA) process for a variety of apprenticeship standards. They will be able to work as a flexible and effective member of a team, with good time management and organisational skills and be capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines on occasion.  

They will be expected to work on site full-time.
