As our Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a robust QA practice from the ground up. You will lead the development of a high-performing QA team, advocate for a customer-centric quality culture, and drive continuous improvements across our products. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape our QA strategy, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.What You’ll Do 🎯 :
- Establish QA Practice:
Establish, evolve and implement a professional QA framework tailored to GoodHabitz’s needs.
- Build and Lead the QA Team:
Recruit, mentor, and manage a QA team covering mobile, web, API, performance, and automation testing.
- Promote Quality Culture:
Advocate for a customer-centric quality culture across the tech organization, ensuring quality is integrated into every stage of development.
- Training & Development:
Provide QA training for the tech department to instill a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement.
- Define Metrics & Reporting:
Establish and track quality metrics (e.g., production issues, pre-production bug rates) to ensure transparency and ongoing enhancement.
- Enhance Test Case Library & Automation:
Manage and expand our test case library, promoting an automation-first approach.RequirementsWhat You’ll Bring to the Team 🔧 :
- Proven track record in QA, with experience setting up QA practices from scratch.
- Strong leadership experience managing QA teams across various domains (mobile, web, API, performance, and automation testing).
- Extensive background in testing customer-facing web and mobile applications, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Expertise in experience-centric product testing and performance metrics.
- Strong communication and expectation-setting abilities.
- Motivational leadership style with a focus on fostering a quality-driven culture.
- Data-driven mindset with a results-oriented approach.
- Experience as a SCRUM Master is a significant plus.
