We are a team of more than 300 professionals whose high expertise and motivation to achieve a better society through innovation makes it our main asset.Main duties:Be part of Sustainability for Innovation Team:
- Plan and execute intricate EU projects, collaborating with international partners to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
- Foster collaboration with multidisciplinary EU entities, such as universities, technology centers, industries.
- Conduct rigorous life cycle assessments studies (environmental, economic and social) of products and systems, in the field of renewable energy and energy storage solutions.
- Monitor technological innovations in renewable energy and energy storage solutions.
- Propose solutions and improvements based on the outcomes of life cycle analysis, contributing to the adoption of more sustainable and efficient practices.
- Scientific dissemination of results and attendance to conferences, meetings and other scientific events.
- Preparation of technical reports, presentations, scientific articles and other documents related with research outcomes.
Education:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Job specific skills:
- Proven experience in conducting life cycle assessments, techno-economic analysis and exergoeconomic analysis, with a focus on renewable energy systems and energy storage solutions.
- Familiarity with energy and environmental research areas, specifically energy efficiency, chemical looping processes, hydrogen, biomass-based fuels, etc.
- Familiarity with social analysis in the context of sustainability.
- Knowledge of eco-design concept.
- Experience using LCA software such as SimaPro and/or GaBi.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of the different R&D calls (National and European) mainly in Horizon Europe Program.
- Understanding experimental/industrial results.
- High-level proficiency in English.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Available to travel, driving license and own car.
Desirable qualifications and skills:
- A PhD in chemical engineering, sustainability, energetic or environmental field would be desirable.
- Previous experience in European projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A professional that can carry out tasks with strong initiative.
