Laboratory Process Technician – Amersfoort Area

A dynamic company in the Amersfoort area, active in both conventional and digital dentistry, is seeking a Laboratory Process Technician to join their R&D team. This organization plays a key role in innovating medical devices for the global dental market.
About the Role
As a Laboratory Process Technician, you will provide essential support to the R&D process within a small, dedicated team. You will autonomously plan and carry out material analyses, contributing to multiple development projects in collaboration with cross-functional departments. Your input will directly influence the development of advanced dental materials and products.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, plan, and execute laboratory tests in alignment with defined test plans and procedures

Operate analytical equipment to measure and evaluate material properties
*
Maintain lab safety and follow all safety protocols
*
Organize and manage laboratory supplies and equipment
*
Follow both written and verbal instructions from engineers and scientists
*
Accurately document and communicate test results and observations
*
Report unusual findings or changes in test conditions to the team
*
Collaborate effectively with team members across departments
Your Profile
Experience as a process or lab technician, preferably in an R&D or manufacturing setting
*
MBO-level background in science or engineering (e.g., chemistry, materials science)
*
Strong Excel skills for data collection and analysis
*
Proficient in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus
*
Detail-oriented, organized, and methodical in your approach to tasks
*
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
*
Good understanding of laboratory practices and safety procedures
*
Familiarity with handling and storing chemicals
*
Experience with UV-curable acrylate systems is an advantage
