Managing specific R&D initiatives will be at the heart of your responsibilities, alongside overseeing a talented team of materials chemists.Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and Schedule: Take charge of the coordination and scheduling of all laboratory R&D projects, ensuring efficient workflow and timely deliverables.
- Project Management: Lead the management of specific R&D projects from inception to completion, ensuring milestones are met and objectives achieved.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of skilled chemists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for lab optimisation, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices for enhanced efficiency.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of project goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry or related field.
- Extensive experience in roles with accountability for R&D projects
- Proven track record of successful project delivery within a scientific or industrial setting.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong leadership abilities with a passion for nurturing talent and fostering innovation.
