REASEARCH ASSISTANT/ ASSISTANT PROFESSORReasearch Assistant / Assistant professor department of managementNr ref.: 3/NAUKA/KZ/25Department of ManagementThese positions include the following duties:

• conducting research in the scientific area agreed with the Head of the Department,
• full-time work for the position in the academic year,
• teaching in Polish and English, at the undergraduate and graduate levels,
• taking care of student organizations and projects,
• performing administrative tasks defined by the Head of the Department.

Candidate requirements:For the Research Assistant position – Department of Management:

• master’s degree in management, economics, or a related field of social sciences,
• publication plans,
• publications in national and international scientific journals (recommended),
• willingness to engage with industry and apply research in practical contexts (recommended).

For the Assistant Professor position – Department of Management:

• doctoral degree in management, economics, or a related field of social sciences,
• publications in peer-reviewed national and international scientific journals,
• precise publication strategy targeting journals in the field of management,
• publication record including peer-reviewed articles, contributions to edited volumes, or scientific monographs, preferably in English,
• clearly defined and realistic plans for submitting research grants and funding opportunities,
• documented experience in delivering presentations at academic conferences,
• active membership in academic associations or networks (recommended),
• willingness to collaborate with industry and professional organizations to enrich academic content and teaching (preferred),

For both Research Assistant and Assistant Professor positions:

• teaching experience, including working with online students,
• experience in developing and applying innovative teaching method,
• active membership in academic associations (recommended),
• experience in an academic environment (recommended),
• non-academic experience related to research and teaching (recommended),
• English Proficiency: Proven C1-level knowledge (CEFR standard); documented C2-level proficiency recommended,
• Polish Proficiency: Documented B2-level proficiency (CEFR standard) (MUST); certified C1-level proficiency recommended.
• proficiency in Ms Teams,
• willingness to engage with industry and professional bodies to enrich courses thought by the Department,
• strong communication and teamwork skills,
• respect for diversity and personal culture,
• readiness to indicate KU as the first place of work.
