The TRM team in France is covering Continental Europe portfolio (its main markets for Receivable Finance being France, Spain, Poland and Czech Republic).Here in France, you’ll help evolve and grow our business. We are committed to removing barriers and ensuring careers at HSBC are inclusive and accessible.What you will do:The Portfolio Risk Manager role is based within Global Trade Solutions (GTS) / Transaction Risk Management (TRM).The role of the Portfolio Risk Manager is responsible for managing the overall risk within the Receivable Finance portfolio in Continental Europe, including but not limited to credit, operational, collateral and fraud.In this role you will:Monitor portfolio trends including sectors, positions of concern, delinquent positions and non-recourse structures, ensuring within risk appetite and taking appropriate action to mitigate loss including reviewing information at individual seller and portfolio level to identify anomalies and trend;

• Produce portfolio risk reportings, participate in the preparation of the decks for RF and GTS risk meetings and reports for regulators;
• Participate in various cross functional projects of the Bank in line with TRM risk monitoring function;
• Manage underwriting of new and renewal credit opportunities including developing appropriate recommendation for wholesale credit and market risk;
• Work closely with GTS Client Management and Sales teams in France and in Continental Europe;
• Communicate and adhere to HSBC policy and procedures in order to ensure good operational, financial and project management, policy and procedural compliance and early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise and taking required action in relation to points raised by audit and/or external regulators;
• Develop and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of HSBC and market best practice;
• Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment.

RequirementsYou should apply if you have:

• Receivables Finance experience
• Relationship Management and/or Risk experience
• Fluent in both spoken and written French and English languages
• A high standard of IT skills to extract & analyse data from various systems including Microsoft Products (Excel / Word / PowerPoint etc.)
• Ability to understand and interpret financial information/analysis
• A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
• Proven skills in time and task management and good team working.
