WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Develop Marketing Strategy;
Set the vision and the strategy and elaborate the plan and the path forward to execute the plan involving regional seed functions (marketing, agronomic services, supply operations and country teams).
Establish key marketing objectives in terms of sales revenue, gross profit and market share on a short-term basis (budget) as well as on a long-term basis.
Crop system approach: contribute to enlarge BASF value proposition with a wider offer in key geographies with seeds, crop protection products, supported by a digital platform, targeting sustainability objectives.
- Follow the marketing implementation plan;
As member of Seeds S&OP, challenges the demand plan from the countries and decides on the upside to secure the success of the product launches.
Support the local seed teams to onboard local management and increase the seed-mindset in BASF organization.
- Drive the Portfolio Management;
Ensure the long term trends market trends are prioritized and potentially incorporated in BASF R&D targets.
Co-lead the product advancement committee (PAC) with agronomic services and breeding.
- Third parties Strategy;
Set the third parties strategy with the « Third Party and Crop Manager Field Crop Seeds”. Participate in the key negotiations with seed partners to enhance strategic collaborations.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science or Business field;
- Solid command of French and English;
- Experience in regional position ideally in Field Crops seeds;
- Ability to lead projects across a large organization with multiple businesses and stakeholders;
- Leadership and Networking skills;
- Strong ability to work collaboratively;
- Developed negotiation skills and experience in budgeting ad business plan follow-up;
- At least 10 years of experience, ideally in Agricultural Business.
