The position

As a Regional Medical Advisor, you are expected to have a solid understanding of scientific data for training purposes and are expected to design, help and/or coordinate educational programmes and workshops. Managing medical activities of the department and developing regional medical advisory services for stakeholders, increasing scientific awareness, and communicating the clinical usefulness of our products, developing short-, medium-, and long-term local and national plans, and collaborating cross-functionally with a customer focus.

This role requires traveling in 70-80
%. You will support the Diabetes therapeutic area. The position will report to the CMR Director and is based in Prague, with its territory comprising of mainly Prague, Central and Western Bohemia. The role demands spending time both in-office as well as in the field.
 

Your responsibilities will include:

-Contributing actively to build, maintain and update scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area with a planned, execution, and disseminating up-to-date medical knowledge using clinical trial data, leveraging scientific and clinical expertise with local and regional physicians.
-Acting as a scientific ambassador for Novo Nordisk, ensuring that the profile of the company remains high amongst key stakeholders through establishing a peer-to-peer relationship based on scientific rigor and integrity. Presenting medical training for various internal and external stakeholders. 

-Foresee and proactively address potential scientific challenges and ensure that external communications conform to regulatory laws and directions. Supporting Clinical activities as being a local therapeutic area expert. 

Engaging in identification and development of relevant publications/content and facilitate new product launches with close cross-functional collaboration.
-Contributing to the generation of new data relevant to the product/portfolio assigned; and identifying and critically evaluating new data and using the data for effective communication purposes.
-Building strong scientific and peer relationships with key stakeholders and identified major institutions within the health care sector to ensure optimal delivery of scientific information to the medical and scientific community.
 
Qualifications

-You are an MD or PharmD or have a Master´s Degree in Life Science, with a minimum of two years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry or medical practice. 
-An in-depth understanding of the role of medical affairs in pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs tools, and activities.
-You have a strong understanding of project management in digital transformation, digital health or other digital field experience. It is also essential that you are up to date with today’s technology.
-Ability to understand and efficiently communicate complicated scientific data and are to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
-You are driven, can take initiative, and are agile in actions.
-Your personality is aligned with our Novo Nordisk Way, and you are fluent in both written and spoken Czech and English.
