- Italy (preferred), Spain, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic or Poland
Division Specific Information:The Chemical Analysis Division features innovative analytics, from lab to line to field. Our business serves a wide breadth of industrial markets including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, environmental, process minerals, mining, coal, cement, and metals, as well as academic, government, safety, and security.Discover Impactful Work:As the Regional Sales Manager, Environmental & Process Monitoring, you will deliver incremental growth and revenue growth for the Chemical Analysis Division’s EPM business in the South- and East Europe. You will also work on territory business planning, managing and forecasting the sales pipeline, and building and maintaining relationships with key customers and distributors to close sales.A Day in the Life:
- Create and maintain a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities by collaborating with direct and indirect customers
- Develops, maintains and owns GoTo market plans for the region in close collaboration with the local Channel manager
- Understands the strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develops sales strategies to respond effectively.
- Main competencies and/or experience in Process/Laboratory environment combined with regional market knowledge
- Creative in finding ways to close deals based on a ‘must-win’ mentality
- Is a strong team player, happy to learn and eager to chip-in with ideas to grow the EMEA and Global EPM business
Keys to Success:Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degrees preferred
Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience with a documented track record of success
- 2+ years as an indirect people and/or distribution manager experience
- Must have sold capital pieces of equipment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to travel 50%+ across the assigned territory
- Strong technical knowledge of the chemical and/or environmental industry and experience selling in those markets
- Self starter and able to work on your own
- Ability to prospect new business and have that “hunter” attitude
- Strong communication skills – orally and written in English and Arabic
- Strong organizational and time management skills
