What your future may hold
As the Regional Talent Manager for Western Europe, you will drive strategic and operational initiatives in Talent Management across Western Europe, spanning Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Reporting to the People Director for Western Europe, you will work in alignment with the HR framework of Astara’s Headquarters in Spain, and will be responsible for the following HR disciplines:
1. Learning & Development (L&D)
- You design the L&D strategy for Western Europe, and implement adequate L&D programs, fostering a proactive learning culture;
- You work closely together with local HR managers and take initiatives to implement the L&D programs per country, such as personal development programs and technical and soft skills training programs;
- You introduce adequate tools, procedures and processes, ensuring efficient development needs analysis and follow-up;
- You align with headquarters to monitor relevant KPI’s in this respect, such as training hours per year per person;
- You maximize subsidies and grants to support training programs.
2. Performance Management
- You steer the performance evaluation cycle for Western Europe as process owner, including 360-degree feedback as well as calibration reviews;
- You work within the strategy and guidelines of the company, and implement the performance cycle procedures with the local HR managers per country;
- You train local leadership in the areas of performance management;
- You regularly present and communicate on these topics to the relevant
stakeholders.
3. Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- You partner with local HR managers on strategic level for the recruitment needs;
- You manage the annual workforce planning and budgeting;
- You guide your team to source candidates directly and through partnerships for
critical roles, ensuring adherence to best practices.
4. Organisational Development & Employee Engagement
- You are responsible for the organisational development for the region in close collaboration with the People Director of Western Europe;
- You drive organisational and cultural transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with global and regional objectives;
- You take up the full ownership for the annual employee engagement surveys;
- You actively contribute to leadership coaching programs.
Your skillset
- You obtained a Bachelor or Master degree in HR, Organisational Development, or a related field;
- You have minimum 10 years of experience in Talent Management and/or L&D roles, and are used to work on strategic as well as operational level simultaneously;
- You demonstrate your strong ability to manage projects across diverse, international teams;
- You show proficiency in HR -technologies;
- You have the required analytical skills to measure ROI on HR initiatives;
- With your exceptional interpersonal skills, you influence and collaborate
seamlessly with stakeholders across levels and geographies;
- You are proactive and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced,
evolving environment;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an asset but not
mandatory.Astara
