Relationship Manager – Financial InstitutionsCoverage of FI clients, originating new business and cross selling of FI and other banking products.
Preparing Credit papers, monitoring and mitigating risk of a loan portfolio.Relationship Manager – Financial Institutions

  • To develop and manage Financial Institution client relationships.
  • Execution – syndicated or bilateral, for both banking and non-banking FI clients, including sponsored deals.
  • Cross selling FI products – (including syndicated loans, fund finance, Nostro accounts, trade finance, FX, and deposits).
  • Prepare credit applications and renewals for FI clients limits and facilities, subject to approval from the Head Office and local credit committee, as delegated.
  • Build and oversee a loan portfolio aligned with the bank’s risk appetite.
  • Initiate risk assessments, conduct comprehensive due diligence, and prepare credit submissions, presenting them to the credit committee.
  • Develop pitch materials and presentations as necessary.
  • Mitigate loan risks through diligent reviews and ongoing monitoring of economic and market dynamics, adjusting deal structures as needed to minimise losses.
