Description

From the first note of code to the grand finale of deployment, your role is pivotal in ensuring a harmonious performance. Where will you be in the organization? 

The division 

Group CIO creates the link between technology and business strategy and priorities, defines the technology operating model for AXA, sets global and local architecture, applications, and infrastructure standards, and leads the definition and execution of global technology strategy and technology lifecycle to enable innovation and business growth. 

The department / team 

You will join IGP (Identity Global Products), the IT department in charge providing Identity Products in all the whole AXA Organization. 

We are responsible of managing and transforming products allowing for the Group: 

  • Identity Provisioning & Authorizations: Creating, managing, and deactivating user accounts and roles across various systems and applications in the organization. 
  • Authentication: Implementing technologies and processes that verify the identity of users and systems. 
  • Access Management: Ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to specific resources and information. This includes managing permissions and access controls. 
  • Security: Protecting sensitive data from unauthorized access and potential breaches. This involves implementing robust identity and access management policies and procedures. 
  • Compliance: Ensuring the organization meets various regulatory requirements related to identity management and data protection. 

In essence, the IT Identity Department is the guardian of the company’s digital identity, ensuring the right people have the right access at the right time. It’s a critical function that helps maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the company’s information assets. 

Currently transformed thanks to a major program mobilizing ~100 people, we aim to become leader on the market in terms of practices and technologies. 

About the job 

Job purpose

As a release manager you’ll play an important role in ensuring the successful deployment of software releases in our projects. You’ll be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing the process of developing, testing, and deploying software releases to various environments. 

Main missions

Your responsibilities include: 

  • Defining the content of different releases. 
  • Making sure that all prerequisites have been respected before being promoted to pre-production and production. 
  • Working closely with different teams including development, operations, and quality assurance to ensure that the software release activities are carried out smoothly and efficiently, meeting the quality standards and deadlines. 
  • Managing risks and resolve any issues that affect the software release scope, schedule, and quality, making sure that the product meets the business requirements and is delivered with high customer satisfaction. 
  • Structure and coordinate teams with respect to Agile methodologies used on the different products. 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills: 

Experience

  • Proven successful experience as Release Manager 
  • Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies 
  • Work in IT infrastructure / security projects context 

Technical skills 

  • IT Engineering background 
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle & CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Checkmarx, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of IAM concepts, solutions and services: identity management & authorizations, authentication/access control (Savyint, Ping). 

Soft skills / transversal skills

  • Ability to communicate and negotiate in an international / multi-cultural environment. 
  • “Service-oriented” person with skills in managing client relationships: requirements, delivery, quality of service… 
  • Management of priorities and complex situations with multiple stakeholders (Identity, other AXA GO, entities, security…) while keeping good relationships. 
  • Analytical skills to help drive “continuous improvement”. 
  • Fluent written & spoken English and a second language a plus.
