The Department of Management at Aarhus University, School of Business and Social Sciences, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month research assistant position. The successful candidate will join an AUFF NOVA-funded research project on Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR). The position is expected to begin on 15 August 2025, or subject to mutual agreement.The research project As digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (A), big data, and algorithmic decision-making become increasingly embedded in organizational practices, companies face new ethical, societal, and managerial challenges. While legislation such as the GDPR and the EU AI Act provides legal boundaries, several dilemmas go beyond compliance and require companies to reflect on their values, practices, and responsibilities.The project explores how Nordic companies – often regarded as global frontrunners in Corporate Social Responsibility and digital innovation – define, implement and communicate Corporate Digital Responsibility. It focuses on how companies approach their responsibilities related to the use of AI and other emerging technologies, how they are integrated into business strategies and communicated internally and externally to maintain stakeholders’ trust.Job description The successful candidate will contribute to the overall objectives of the project through the following tasks:

  • Assisting with project coordination and planning (e.g. stakeholder mapping)
  • Supporting qualitative data collection (e.g. interviews, focus groups and document analysis)
  • Participating in data analysis and interpretation
  • Supporting the preparation of literature reviews and research funding applications
  • Collaborating closely with members of the project team

The position offers valuable experience with academic research, and the candidate will be encouraged to contribute ideas and perspectives throughout all phases of the project.Qualification requirements The qualification requirements for appointment as research assistant are:

  • A relevant master’s degree, preferably within communication, organization and/or digitalization
  • Strong skills in qualitative research methods and analysis
  • An interest in emerging digital technologies, ethics, and responsible business
  • Experience with stakeholder management and/or project management
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Danish and English
