Overview of the Post​​​​​​​

We wish to appoint a Research Associate with expertise in economics or health economics to work on an NIHR-funded study evaluating social prescribing schemes in England and Scotland (https://fundingawards.nihr.ac.uk/award/NIHR134066). This multi-region study aims to map current provision and service configuration and assess whether access, engagement, costs and outcomes vary by delivery model, geography and population characteristics over time. The postholder will use econometric methods and large survey and administrative datasets to further our understanding of health and care. They will join the Economic Sustainability Research Theme within the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration for Greater Manchester, based at the University of Manchester.

The  successful candidate will also work on other projects applying econometric analysis to health and care datasets.
