Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor / Legal Executive – BristolAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Conveyancer to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Bristol. The firm is committed to providing intelligent, efficient, and client-focused legal services while offering a supportive and collaborative environment to help their team grow professionally.The RoleThis position involves handling a variety of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages, while being supported by a Paralegal and Legal Secretary. The firm values high-quality service over high-volume transactions and does not operate a ‘high volume’ business model.The successful candidate will work closely with senior members of the team, contributing to both fee-earning work and marketing/business development activities. The firm has strong connections with local estate agents, and networking and relationship-building are key elements of this role. You will be involved in:Interviewing clients, taking instructions, and keeping detailed file notesMaintaining and reviewing file checklists and compliance documentationRaising enquiries, issuing client care letters, and drafting contract packagesActing for mortgage lenders and conducting exchanges of contractsAdvising clients on progress and costsEnsuring all documents are drafted correctly and providing undertakings in conveyancing mattersParticipating in marketing activities, including firm-wide, departmental, and office eventsAccounts procedures, including preparing bills of costs and completion statementsThis is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the ongoing success of a firm with an excellent reputation within the Bristol property market.The CandidateThe ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of PQE (although there is no upper limit on PQE) and a proven track record in residential property law. Previous experience within the Bristol property market is preferable, along with excellent technical skills and a client-focused approach.You should also possess:Enthusiasm for business development and marketing, particularly through networking and social mediaExcellent IT and literacy skills, with the ability to adapt to new systems and processesStrong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to build strong relationshipsA proactive, organised approach and the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyAbout the FirmThe firm is well-known in the Bristol legal market, recognised for providing excellent legal services to individuals and businesses.
