Retail Manager – Three positions (1920)

The Role:

As our Retail Manager, you’ll be a part of the driving force behind our new Manchester large format Superstore. Your role? As part of the Superstore Management Team, you will lead the shop floor operation empowering a team of paid and volunteer colleagues to maximise income generation and deliver a positive customer and donor experience which brings to life Oxfam’s brand. You’ll be instrumental in making our superstore ambition in Manchester a reality.

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam’s mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

• Experience of managing space in large format stores and leading teams to drive significant revenue across multiple products
• Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of diverse stakeholders and external partners to understand their needs
• Ability to flex approach and communicate change through effective communication skills.
• Effective time management and prioritisation
• Role model for own wellbeing
• IT literacy and numeracy across multiple platforms, including social media
• Ability to understand and interpret sales reports.
• Commercial awareness and judgement.
