This is our Risk Data Analyst for those who strive to implement functional processes and drive them to full completion.Tasks in the role are include:Partner with your primary stakeholders across the Platform Infrastructure division to understand the team’s data and business needsBuild and test quantitative frameworks and data models for measuring and assessing infrastructure risk, transforming our risk registry and approach to assessing risk and prioritization across the team from qualitative to data-basedAnalyze data across our platform to measure the probability, severity and cost impact to Semrush of realised threats on infrastructure assetsBecome an expert in translating needs and opportunities into specific analysis that yields actionable insights and drives business impactHelp drive the effective design – and analyze the outcomes – of a range of tests and A/B experimentsCreate reports, analyses and insights that help your stakeholders understand their customers, performance and opportunitiesCommunicate findings and data insights to your stakeholders with a point of view and desire to enable your teams to make a data-driven decisionWho we are looking for:2+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fieldStrong, practical knowledge of risk management frameworks and risk assessment best practices, preferably in IT infrastructure, engineering and/or cybersecurity sectorsFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and technology industry standards related to risk managementStrong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets programmatically; particularly for data analysis, manipulation, or explorationPython experience is a plusKnowledge and practical experience with data analytics, predictive modeling, experimentation, and statistical toolsExperience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similarPrior experience in a business environment influencing decision making with dataA proactive and results-driven colleague who is passionate about the role of data in helping solve complex questionsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a certain amount of change and ambiguityDegree in an educational field with a with a heavy quantitative, analytical focus (e.g., computer science, data science/statistics, economics, or business administration)Advanced proficiency in English, both verbal and writtenThey say there are no perfect candidates, but that might well be you, if you have:Solid foundation in math, probability theory, and statisticsPython knowledge or other programming languageGreat Excel skillsYou share our common values: Trust, because we prefer to speak up and be our true selves; Sense of Ownership, because it’s not worth wasting time on something you don’t believe in; and enthusiasm for Constant Changes, because we are always looking to make things betterA bit about the team:You can get to know the team better at one of the interviews, but some brief information about future colleagues will be useful now.The Team ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards, identifies and mitigates compliance risks, and develops and implements risk mitigation projects for project stakeholders, including senior management, legal, security, and compliance teams.
