A well-established manufacturer of timber frame and engineered wood products is recruiting a Roof Truss Designer to support increasing project demand across residential, self build and developments. The role involves designing roof truss and floor systems, working closely with internal teams and clients to deliver accurate, compliant designs. It would suit candidates with prior truss design experience or those looking to broaden their expertise within a growing construction sector that offers strong long-term career development.

As a Roof Truss Designer you will:

* Design roof truss and floor systems using industry software
* Interpret architectural drawings, specifications and building standards
* Produce accurate technical designs and manufacturing outputs
* Prepare CNC files to support fabrication processes
* Ensure all designs meet structural, safety and regulatory requirements
* Liaise with clients, engineers and internal teams to resolve design queries
* Provide technical support to sales and estimating teams
We are Looking for:

* Experience in roof truss design or a similar structural design role
* Proficiency in truss design software (e.g. Gang-Nail or equivalent)
* Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings
* Knowledge of roof and floor framing systems and load requirements
* Understanding of relevant building regulations and standards
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work on-site full-time
