Aim of this positionThis role involves overseeing daily safety protocols, organizing training, ensuring compliance with equipment manuals and safety regulations, and managing warehouse sanitation and 5S practices. This is an opportunity to be part of the future of the electric vehicle industry and its road toward de-carbonization.What you will do?

  • Safety oversight: iImplement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to create secure work environment
  • Training and education: organize and conduct safety training programs for all warehouse staff, educating them on proper safety protocols, equipment usage and emergency procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents and corrective actions taken
  • Regulatory compliance: stay informed about and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations applicable to the warehouse environment
  • Equipment manual implementation: ensure that staff follows equipment manual instructions and adheres to safety rules and regulations when operating machinery or handling materials
  • Incident Investigation: investigate incidents or near misses, and develop strategies to prevent similar occurences in the future. Conduct root-cause analyses
  • Emergency response planning: develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and communication protocols
  • Safety inspections: conduct regular inspections and gembas in the warehouse to identify and rectify potential safety hazards, address issues promptly
  • Sanitation management: oversee warehouse sanitation practices and prevent hazards related to hygiene
  • 5S management: implement and manage 5S principles to optimize efficiency while promoting a safe work environment
  • Continuous improvement: identify opportunities for CI in safety practices and actively work towards enhancing safety measures

What you will have?

  • University degree in Safety / EHS Engineering and/or industrial hygiene or other equivalent combination of relevant experience and academic training will be considered
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in occupational safety and ergonomics in a manufacturing environment
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in Hungarian and English speaking and writing
  • A proficient level of knowledge and skill in MS Office
