Short description:

The inside sales representative is appointed by the managing director to represent the OPW FTGE sales department. The position is fulfilled as an in-house position, primarily intended for sales of trade goods, finished products and serving as customer contact to the OPW FTGE engineers.

Responsibilities:

*Manage, monitor and process customer order requests ensuring timely quotations and customer feedback. Priorities may be defined by the sales manager.

*Verification of customer requirements vs. applicable compliance criteria – in conjunction with sales manager; referenced to Dover corp, International/ end-user local legislation, standards, directives, guidelines. Criteria may include:

-Financial (e.g. SOX),
-Trade (e.g. embargoed products/ destinations),
-Ethical guidelines (as stipulated by the Dover corporation),
-Machine directive (06/42/EG),
-PED (Pressure equipment Directive; 97/23/EG),
-IECEx/ ATEX (Explosion safety; 94/9/EG).

*Follow-up of customer information requests; preparing/ shipping customer information packages.

*Receiving & communicating customer requirement changes. In conjunction with sales manager (and/or ATEX/ PED authorised person) obtaining drawing and design approval(s).

*Obtaining and processing customer satisfaction and complaints handling information.

*Maintenance of CRM data.

*Prepare concept customer price quotations, using pre-defined profit margins and discount bandwith. Quotations to be approved by sales manager prior issueing.

Authority:

*All authorisations are referenced to the Dover corp. Op. Co. authorization schedule.

*Reporting of any (suspicion of) unauthorized activities, harassment or abuse to the managing director.

*Inform and advise the sales manager on identified market and PMC changes.

Tasks:

*Backlog management.

*Quotes preparation, RMA processing, credit note preparation. Approval by sales manager prior customer issue.

*Pre- and post handling of 09:30 meeting sales information, attendance if required in absence of the account manager. Communicating to appropriate internal and external contacts.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

*Distribution of product and sales information upon customer request. Information shared may include product data, standard lead times, product availability from the ERP system. Approval of Product pricing and lead times according authorisation table.

*Observes proper compliance to safety rules, advises co-workers if required.

*Identifies/ reports improvement opportunities ensures work-environment neatness.
